Facebook party themes are the perfect way to customize a generic party. Don’t you want to make their experience with you special and memorable?
Using Themes in Facebook Parties
Online parties are becoming the wave of the future due to friends and family being spread far and wide, as well as everyone’s busy lifestyle. But you can only have so many parties called “Pam’s Pampered Chef Party”. *Yawn* Wouldn’t “Pam’s Virtual Pool Party!” sound way more fun?! And yes, that’s a theme I actually used. It was GREAT!
I’ve talked with a lot of consultants who get hung up on the theme to use to create a unique party for their host and guests. My advice? Don’t feel that it has to tie directly to your product! If you’re a Pampered Chef Consultant, it doesn’t have to be “Dinner in a Dash” (although that is a good one- write that down!). An Usborne Books Consultant doesn’t have to do a library theme. LuLaRoe Consultants don’t have to stick with a date night theme (that’s also a good one– write that down, too!). As long as you make the party fun and find a small way to work your product back in somehow, it’ll be great!
All Season Ideas
For Pampered Chef Consultants, you’ll want to head into Consultant’s Corner and look under the Marketing Imagery for the party packs. There’s a ton of ideas in there. But, don’t forget to make them your own– along with making your own graphics!
There will also always be the classic themes that you can use as a “go-to” for planning your online Facebook party. If you’re short on hostesses, create a Mystery Hostess party or choose a charity and have a fundraiser. A Battle of the Hostesses is always fun, too- pit your hostesses against each other and have an extra reward (along with bragging rights) for the winner.
Is there an event in your personal life that you can turn into a party? Is your birthday coming? Your anniversary with your company? What about an amazing vacation or holiday coming up?

I love seasonal Facebook party themes! Especially when it’s centered around a season with a new catalog release. With Pampered Chef, we always get new catalogs in the Spring and in the Fall. That’s a perfect time to talk about the new products, new season and new recipes! And the great news is, you can actually use these same scripts/themes for a couple months into the new catalog because not everyone sees it right away.
Some seasonal examples might be, 4th of July, Back to School, Trick or Treat, Thanksgiving Feast, Gifts for All Occasions or maybe even a Wedding Season Survival party. Create your own graphics that go along with the seasonal Facebook party theme for cohesiveness. Have your engagement and interaction questions centered around the theme as well.

While these themes have a shorter reuse lifespan, they can still have a great impact! Think about things like the Superbowl and awards shows. Random trends that pop up out of nowhere – like right now people are doing nuts-o things with their eyebrows. Embrace it!
A great Facebook party theme focuses on a single topic and has a mixture of fun and engaging content, with a sprinkle of information about your product and company. The key is to think beyond your product. Show off your creativity by tying your product to a theme that isn’t overtly related. That is a surefire way to create an Epic Facebook Party. A lot of times, it’s easier to create your theme, then back into how you’ll tie in your products. It becomes a little clearer that way.
- Emmy’s, Oscars, Billboard Music Awards, Golden Globes
- Makeup Trends
- Healthy Eating (around New Years in particular)
- Jewelry Trends
- Clothing Trends
Movies and Books
Oh, man. This is possibly one of the easiest themes you could do since so many of our lives are influenced by movies, tv shows and books. There is a whole cult around Grey’s Anatomy (no judgement, I’m in that cult, too). Harry Potter, Dr Who and Star Wars have huge followings, too. Any of the Avengers (I get double credit for this being a comic book and a movie, right?) are also wildly popular. Pick your favorite and run with it!
- Golden Girls
- Harry Potter
- Star Wars
- Dr. Who
- Disney (be careful of copyright infringement! Disney does NOT mess around)
- Grey’s Anatomy
- Chicago Fire
- Alice in Wonderland (this was one of my absolute FAVORITE themes to put together for Pampered Chef parties!)
- Limony Snicketts Series of Unfortunate Events
- Hocus Pocus
- Walking Dead
Facebook party themes are a wonderful way to spark your creativity as well as to show your host that you care enough to create something special. Couple this with some great Facebook party training, you will be sure to have increased sales, future hosts and a lot of fun!
All of these themes are a starting point for customized graphics, a specialized selection of products, an even a customized music playlist on Spotify for your guests to listen to while playing along.
